A native of Virginia Beach, Sarah A. Cox completed her undergraduate studies at Virginia Wesleyan College (B.A. English) and her graduate studies at the University of Richmond School of Law (J.D. 2003). Sarah brings a diverse legal experience to the team. She spent 16 years as a general practice paralegal before going to law school. Since beginning her practice, Sarah has taught Real Estate Transactions as adjunct faculty at Regent University Law School and has taught and tutored for the Virginia Bar Exam. In a diversion from the direct practice of law, Sarah spent a couple of years in Raleigh, North Carolina working with a national real estate software corporation where she assisted in the creation of State specific form documents and in the implementation of the CFPB Regulations.
Now that she has returned to Virginia, Sarah concentrates her practice in the areas of Real Property law and transactions, Estate planning, and Adoption. Sarah is a member of the Virginia State Bar and, in addition to practicing in all local courts, is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, the United States 4th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Virginia. Sarah is a twice distinguished past President of the Optimist Club of Virginia Beach and is an advocate for individuals with special needs.
