Madeline Loving

Madeline Loving grew up outside Nashville, Tennessee, where she excelled in youth government programs, mock trial, show chorus, and equestrian sports. Madeline graduated early with her Bachelor’s degree in public administration and economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (Class ‘17). During her undergraduate studies, she spent years working for a local real estate firm and title company. She has experience in title abstraction, title opinions, residential property transactions, title insurance, and corrective title procedures.

Madeline attended Tulane Law School (Class ‘21) in New Orleans, Louisiana. While securing her Juris Doctorate, she worked with a variety of private sector and public interest litigators. Multiple internships equipped her with skill sets in criminal defense, consumer fraud matters, U.S. Security and Exchange Commission investigations, and large asset civil litigation. Madeline began her trial experience in law school as an LASC Rule XX Student Attorney, where she successfully represented juveniles in criminal defense and domestic abuse matters.

Prior to joining Caplan Law Group, P.C., Madeline was a family law litigator, with experience in uncontested and contested divorces, custody disputes, protective orders, and child support matters.

Madeline is a member of the Virginia State Bar. Shortly after law school, she relocated to Virginia Beach with her partner, James, and their two dogs — Penny the Bernedoodle, and Ike the Morkie.
